Adblock plus waiting for traffic on port 2020 install#
Install app and do not set up device proxy to allow traffic from ABPĢ. I just downloaded the Adblock Plus app and configured the proxy to localhost port 2020 and I still get ads when I use the Chrome app. "Waiting for traffic on port 2020" notification should appear and should not change to "Allowing ads on WiFi connection" notification after disabling and enabling Proxy option.ġ. I tried following these instructions and setting up the internet connection to use proxy local host and port 2020. It keeps saying 'Waiting for traffic on port 2020'. I can remove it at the settings but that has no effect. I have tried to deinstall en install again but now it sets the settings automaticly to localhost en port 2020. Open Notifications list and see 'Waiting for traffic on port 2020' notification disappears and 'Allowing ads on WiFi connection' notification appears though there are no traffic available on port 2020. I set the setting to localhost en port 2020 but now it keeps on waiting for port 2020.

"Waiting for traffic on port 2020" notification changes to "Allowing ads on WiFi connection" notification after switching off/on Proxy option. 1 I installed Adblock Plus on my Galaxy Tab 3 and it doesn't work. I have an alcatel OT918 and installed adblock yesterday.
